Signs of Spring

I spent the month of February finishing my manuscript but have neglected other things, including this blog.
Thank you for checking back or visiting if you are new to my blog. We have blue skies today in Mesa, AZ. and the weather is warming up.
I’m going to introduce you to my passion and my pursuit-helping people understand and deal with grief, loss and adversity, by telling you about my next book.
I realized after my husband died that there is often little help for children who have lost a parent. My first book, No Time to Grieve, addressed the issues of losing a spouse. The new book One Of My Parents Is Missing, explains and addresses the plight of the child. Nearly everyone will come in contact with a bereaved child at some time in life. It’s likely we won’t know what to do because death education is scarce in our culture.
It is my earnest hope that this book will give adults the tools and the wisdom to help these children through one of the most devastating traumas they can suffer.
Please watch for more information on my blog and my website, http://www.judystrong.com. Our country is rife with loss and adversity and we need all the help we can get. Children, especially, shouldn’t suffer in silence, no matter what they have lost-parent, home, familiar neighborhood.
My best wishes to you,
Judy
